Vietnam is a gorgeous country and truly worth exploring. ๐ป๐ณ I am biased (ofc) but everyone who has travelled to Vietnam told me it's one of their favourite countries too. NORTH VIETNAM: Stunning natural scenery Hanoi โ French-inspired history ๐ฏ Old-quarter charm, French cafรฉs, hidden temples, and amazing food. My favourites: Salt Coffee, Egg Coffee, Bun Cha Ha Noi, Banh Gio, Banh Trung. Sa Pa โ Northern Magic ๐พ Beautiful terraced hills - ideal for hiking or relaxing in the mountain mist. Fansipan is Vietnam's highest point (3,143m), and the cable car is worth it! Ninh Binh โ Ha Long Bay on Land ๐ธ 3-4 hours from Hanoi, Ninh Binhโs boat rides glide through caves and rice paddies surrounded by limestone cliffs. This is my favourite place and a hidden gem! Ha Long Bay โ Limestone Wonder ๐ค I highly recommend a day cruise, or overnight cruise if you have time. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site and is truly majestic. CENTRAL VIETNAM: Historic palaces full of culture Hue & Hoi An โ Central Charm ๐ฎ Hueโs imperial ruins meet Hoi Anโs lantern-lit streets โ cultural, colourful, and very photogenic. I feel that Hoi An is the most romantic place in Vietnam :) SOUTH VIETNAM - Beautiful beaches Phu Quoc โ Southern Sun โ๏ธ Visit Phu Quoc for its beautiful beaches that are great for snorkelling/scuba diving, and its vibrant seafood scene. Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) โ Big City Buzz ๐๏ธ I grew up here and I love how vibrant HCMC is. It has a ton of nice restaurants, lit rooftop bars, a party street (Bui Vien), bustling night and day markets, and French-inspired architecture. Check out District 1 and Thao Dien in District 2.
