Wedding & Mass

Traditional Mass-Appropriate Attire
We joyfully welcome & encourage all our guests to attend our wedding and mass at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (formerly called Mater Dei) at 12 PM, even if you are unfamiliar with the Catholic mass. If you are not Catholic, or haven’t been to mass in a while, here are a few guidelines about the mass: 1. Because we firmly believe that the Eucharist is the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ, we remind those who aren’t Catholic or in good standing with the Church to not receive communion. Instead of approaching the altar rail, it is perfectly acceptable to remain in your pew at this time and pray. 2. We will have missals available so you can follow along with the mass. 3. Before entering the Chapel, please make sure that your phone is turned off. Mater Dei does not allow guests to take photos or videos in the Chapel.
Reception
4:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Semi-Formal Attire
Please join us to celebrate over cocktails, dinner, and dancing at 4:30 PM at the Lynch’s farm, which is approximately a 1 hour drive from St. Lawrence. You may want to consider bringing shoes fit for dancing and walking over grass :)
