Flight

Flying to Seattle

We suggest flying into Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The airport is located 15 miles from downtown Seattle. There are various options for getting into the city: you can take the light rail, uber or rent a car.

Rental Car

Seattle–Tacoma International Airport

17801 International Boulevard
SeaTac, WA 98158

Renting a car from the airport is a great idea if you plan on traveling outside Seattle. Washington State is beautiful and there are so many places to explore. If you do not plan to do any hiking or adventures outside of Seattle, public transportation around the city is a great option. The downtown area is fairly walkable but has lots of hills which can add extra time. There are lime bikes and scooters all over as well. Most hotels will charge for nightly parking (range from $40-60/night) along with all public parking around the city. Some Airbnbs may have parking available or street parking.

Train

Link Light Rail

The light rail has stops from the airport to north of the city. It can take you directly from the airport to downtown Seattle. A single ride ticket is $3.00 and there are various options for all day or multi-day use.

Travel Note

Ferry

If you're looking to have a little getaway while in Seattle, there are a lot of Ferry's that can take you to other islands. You can walk on and off the ferry, so there is no need for a car.

Travel Note

Airbnbs

2125 Terry Avenue
Seattle, WA 98121

Due to higher rates on hotels we also suggest looking into Airbnbs or VRBO throughout the stay. Some good locations to target your search would be: downtown if you’re hoping for the city vibes, east side of Fremont, Eastlake and Queen Anne. If you don’t mind being outside of Seattle proper/away from downtown in the many cute neighborhoods, we would suggest: Mount Baker, Madison Park, Columbia City, West Seattle or across the lake in Bellevue.
