We met on a Tinder date. And unlikely though it sounds, it was love at first swipe. No, just kidding. After we matched, it took us more than a month to actually meet, but Fabien charmed Ayesha with some clever word play. When she told him she was a graduate student in communications, he said, "Ah, so you're on Tinder for research. I imagine your thesis title will read, 'Tinder: How Society Swiped Itself." Definitely the way to a grad student's heart. When we met for our first date, in -27 degree weather (!) Ayesha very nearly bailed because of the cold, but was so glad she didn't. We hit it off instantly despite our coming from different worlds in all senses. Fabien couldn't stop talking about her when he was snowboarding with Amaury the next day, and Ayesha couldn't stop smiling. We fell in love pretty much instantly, and four years later, after sharing some of the biggest moments in our lives together, here we are! *** Nous nous sommes rencontrés grâce à Tinder. Lorsque nous nous sommes rencontrés pour notre premier rendez-vous, à -27 degrés (!), Ayesha a failli annuler à cause du froid, mais elle était si heureuse qu'elle ne l'a pas fait. Nous nous sommes bien entendus instantanément, même si nous venions de mondes différents. Le lendemain Fabien ne pouvait s'empêcher d'en parler toute la journée à Amaury sur les pistes de snowboard, et Ayesha n'arrêtait pas de sourire. Nous sommes tombés amoureux assez rapidement, et quatre ans plus tard, nous en sommes là!
