Travel Note
Welcome to Cleveland, Ohio The place we’ve made our home. This poem will teach you about where To visit while you roam. If you have time to take a hike The Metroparks are fair. Or you could go to Edgewater And breathe the fresh Lake air. Cleveland is breathtaking in fall, And for that good reason The parks and beaches are great ways To witness this season. If outdoor rec isn’t your thing Perhaps museums are? There are several in the city With art and dinosaurs. In just one day you could see much, Fossils and age-old wears, And wander by the Wade lagoon And see if geese are there. If museums are not your thing Perhaps you’d like to eat. Cleveland has many restaurants too, Serving some tasty treats. Try Asiatown on the east side, Or Tremont on the west. Try Mitchell’s and Mason’s ice cream Then decide which is best. We hope you find delicious food Wherever you may roam. We know how important food is In making a place home. If you’d rather consume some words There are several bookstores, Like Loganberry on Larchmere, Clevo Books, and many more. Or visit Cleveland’s libraries! The one downtown is huge. Or check out Carnegie West branch where we go to peruse. We recommend public transit To get from place to place. Using trains and buses instead Of driving makes less waste. We have rail lines: red, green, and blue Stretching across Cleveland. We also have many buses You can witness firsthand! We hope you enjoy your time here In Cleveland, Ohio. We’re glad to have you visit us. Welcome! Ready? Let’s go!
