What if I get hungry on the way home?

Homer's Street Eats' Food Truck (specializing in Boar's Head burgers, sandwiches, home fries, etc.) has graciously agreed to provide late night eats specifically for our wedding guests. They will be set up in the parking lot, so for a very affordable price, grab a bite before you retire for the evening.
Question

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be inside.

Question

Does it matter if I RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

Absolutely, it is a seated dinner and we need to ensure that everyone will be able to be accommodated. Formal invitations will be mailed early to mid August.

Question

I’m an Omega. Should I be prepared to set owt a hop?

Answer

Come on now! You know Keith is part Man, part Kanga”Roo”. This is not a game...stretch...practice...soak in Epsom salts...and be ready!

Question

Should I wear my cute ”Red Bottom” shoes?

Answer

Only if they don’t hurt. You know it will be a serious dance party.

Question

Why is the event in Columbus, GA?

Answer

The location is centrally located to quite a few of our family members . Plus, our circles are huge so we want to be most inclusive of the people who are near and dear to our hearts.

Question

Is the venue easily accessible?

Answer

Yes, there is ample free parking. It is simple to navigate via wheelchair.

Question

Where will the couple reside post wedding?

Answer

We will live in Atlanta, GA

Question

Can I slack on booking my hotel room?

Answer

We were able to negotiate limited rooms for a group rate at the Hampton Inn and the Marriott. Don’t delay! Book ASAP. Additionally, check for discounted AAA, AARP and Government/Military Rates if applicable. There are other hotels available in the area surrounding the National Infantry Museum. Trip Advisor is a good tool to use to check out details about those lodging options.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

The wedding is at 6:00 pm, so after five attire to semi-formal is most appropriate.

Question

Is there a Registry?

Answer

Yes, the registry is listed on this website.

Question

Since it’s an evening event are people under 21 years old welcomed?

Answer

Considering the open bar and the relaxed atmosphere that comes along with that, it is not recommended unless they have a specific role in the wedding or if they are included on your formal invitation to be mailed out early August 2019.

Question

How do I get around town?

Answer

Specifics are listed under the travel section on this site. If you want the cheat sheet, be friendly and carpool with other guests, take Uber or Lyft, rent a car, and/or take a shuttle depending on the location.

Question

Is the venue on Ft. Benning’s Base.

Answer

No, it is near the base but not actually on base.
