Here is a peak of our unconventional story. Thanks to modern technology, we connected on Facebook in 2015 because we shared mutual acquaintances. At the time, Keith was a Major and Airborne Ranger in the United States Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA who pursued Ayanna, a Paralegal at Turner in Atlanta, GA. Those who know Keith best would agree that he loaths structure, schedules, plans and is the ultimate risk taker. In contrast, those who know Ayanna have observed that she is the antithesis of the aforementioned, by priding herself on managing multiple calendars and confidently executing well planned tasks and events. Keith grew up as an Army Brat who has lived all over the United States. Ayanna has lived in Atlanta most of her life with the exception of a couple of years in Texas. Interestingly, Keith is perfectly fine being home playing video games and watching movies. Ayanna prefers to stay on the move with cultural activities, civic events and excursions with her big circle of family and friends. Somehow, the mixture of these two imperfect people from dissimilar backgrounds and oculars has created a perfect combination of experiences together. From the first date, which was a formal Military Ball, to all of the adventures to present day, it is not taken for granted how blessed we truly are to have found each other. The 100 miles commute to each other throughout the years has been challenging but has not derailed our destiny. Keith proposed in an intimate dinner setting at Marcel in Atlanta. It was a random rainy Wednesday evening, January 2, 2019. Thank you to the supportive village of people who are cheering us on as we officially embark on our life together. Love never fails!
