You should fly into Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), which is the closest major international airport to Lake Como.
There are a few ways to get to Lake Como from Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP): 1) By Train (see travel tab for train bookings): • Take the Malpensa Express train to Milan Centrale (~50 minutes). • From Milan Centrale, take a direct train to Como San Giovanni (~49 minutes). • From Como, you can take a taxi, ferry, or local bus to your hotel. 2) By Private Transfer: • Private car services and taxis are available for direct transportation to Lake Como. This is the most convenient but more expensive option (~€150-€200).

Yes! We’ve compiled a list of recommended hotels near our ceremony location in Tremezzo, Lake Como. You can find all the details, including hotel descriptions, amenities, and booking links, under the "Travel" tab on our website. If you intend on extending your trip to explore Milan and take a day trip to Venice after we depart Lake Como from October 15th - 17th, we recommend a hotel or airbnb in Milan near the city center close to Milano Centrale train station. We recommend booking early, as hotels in Lake Como tend to fill up quickly!

Additional guests and travel companions are welcome to travel and enjoy Lake Como with us as well as when we explore Milan and Venice; however, they will not be included in the formal wedding celebrations, including the ceremony and post-ceremony dinner on October 14th. We appreciate your understanding as we keep these moments intimate. We encourage all guests to explore the beauty of Lake Como and celebrate with us!
There will be an intimate post-ceremony dinner later in the evening on October 14th to celebrate the newly wed couple including guests who attended the ceremony at Hotel Bazzoni- N26 Bistrot. Please check the schedule tab for more details including time and address.
Our wedding will be elegant yet comfortable, with a Soft Autumn color palette, so we recommend semi-formal or cocktail attire .Our elopement ceremony is an outdoor standing event, so consider wearing comfortable shoes. Additional details are listed under the "Guest Attire Inspo" tab. . Weather in October: October in Lake Como is mild but slightly cool, with average temperatures around 50-65°F (10-18°C). There’s a chance of light rain, so consider bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evening.

The earliest train from Venice to Milan typically leaves around 5:39 AM, while the latest train is around 7:48 PM on weekdays. The journey takes roughly 2.5 to 3.5 hours. It's recommended to check the latest train schedules and book in advance, especially for high-speed trains, as they can fill up quickly. Please review the "Travel" tab for train booking options.
