Darrielle first noticed Ayanna at a college basketball game in 2014 and was immediately drawn to her. Interestingly, we met through mutual friends who were dating at the time. He wasn’t usually one to go out of his way to talk to new people, but something about Ayanna made him want to know more. What started as a simple curiosity quickly turned into something deeper. We began texting and spending time together, and it didn’t take long to realize we shared a natural connection. Darrielle was initially drawn to Ayanna’s beauty, but it was her maturity, confidence, and kind spirit that truly stood out. Ayanna, in turn, found comfort in Darrielle’s easygoing nature and how effortless it felt to be around him. One of our earliest and most memorable moments happened during a casual night out with friends. Darrielle offered to buy Ayanna a banana milkshake from Checkers, and that small gesture became a moment we still laugh about today—it was simple, but it marked the beginning of something real. From that first meeting, our relationship has grown in every way- mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Even when life took us in different directions, it was clear that our story wasn’t over. After reconnecting in 2021, we’ve evolved individually and as a couple, learning and loving through every phase of life.

We chose Italy for our wedding because of our shared love for travel and experiencing new places together. Ayanna has always been drawn to historic and romantic locations throughout Europe, inspired by her love for royal history dramas. Italy perfectly embodies both of these passions. Italy is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world—a place we’ve always dreamed of experiencing together. With its breathtaking landscapes, elegant villas, and timeless charm, it serves as the perfect backdrop for our love story and the beginning of our next chapter.
