Man of Honor
Ishan (Guddu) is my little brother and a very caring one at that. He is talented in so many ways - he's smart, musically inclined, good at dancing (nahh), humorous (more like savage), and always one of the most stylish men at a party. I'm so lucky to have him as my 'man of honour' and stand by me for one of the most important moments of my life.
Best Woman
SJ is the worrier of the family. She is the type of person to stress about failing every exam while passing it with an A. Over the years we have grown up from fighting over the window seat in the car, taking my favorite hoodies and locking me in a room (by accident supposedly) to discussing career and relationships. She has definitely become a more understanding person (enough to let me have the window seat). I am glad to have her as the best woman on this day.
Bridesmaid
I have known Sonia since she was 1! She was my tamatar (tomato) cheeks and always will be. She is super crazy, and amazingly easy to talk to. I have seen her grow up from a cute little chubby kid to an incredible and talented adult. One of my favourite moments with her will always be our sleepovers and all the dances we have EVER put together in our lives. I love her so much and am so glad she is a big part of my big day!
Groomsman
The life of every family party, Srinath is one of the most reliable people that I know and can count on for anything I need. I usually ask a lot from him and he will say yes without any complaints provided he is given an iced coffee.
Bridesmaid
I met Sonali when she was one of the crankiest people alive. Though, she still can be one, I love her with all my heart and will not trade her for anything in the world! I met her when we were about 11 or 12. We have planned so many dance performances together throughout our many years and we are not shy to break it down on the dance floor. Lately, she's been helping me plan my big day despite having to plan her own. I appreciate her so much and am so lucky to have her by my side.
Groomsman
Samarth and I met through Avneet around 4 years ago and despite being individuals with very different interest, we became good friends. Some of the qualities that I have admired about him is the way he always strives for efficiency in anything he does as well as the way he dances Bhangra! From our travels to Amsterdam to going to India for his wedding, he has become one of my closest friends. I know I can be less stressed on my wedding knowing he will be there by my side.
Bridesmaid
I met Monika through my dance team a few years ago and we became really really good friends really really fast! I consider her my dance partner in crime! From all the fun times we have had over the years, my favourite thing about her will always be her laugh (it is so contagious!) and the fact that I can tell her anything. I am so happy for her to be an important part of my day!
Groomsman
I can’t fit everything I would want to say about Lloyd here, but I’ll give it a shot. He is one of those people I can talk to about anything. One of the most positive, fun-loving, and at the same time relaxed person I have ever met. He is an incredible friend and travel buddy. He not only pushes me but everyone around him to be the best version of themselves and I can’t wait to share this milestone with him as one of the main men.
Bridesmaid
I have known Sonia for over 12 years and we have been dance floor partners ever since. When everyone else is done dancing, her and I will be the last ones still busting a move! I am so glad she is in my bridal party because no party is complete without her!
Groomsman
Bhavesh and I pretty much grew up together (we mostly grew up at Niagara falls). Mostly intentionally but sometimes not, he is one of the funniest people I know. Always one to look good for every party, this man has a new shirt every time I see him. I can’t begin to count the amount of family beach get-together, picnics and family dinners we have been on but I would go on many more as long he shows up.
Bridesmaid
Gurcharan (Neena) is my cousin. We were really close when we little kids but lost a little touch when I moved to Canada. Regardless, anytime I visited India, she was always there for to take care of me. I am happy that she now moved to Canada and has become that close part of my life again! I am so lucky to have her be an important part of my wedding!
Groomsman
My Chaddi buddy at work. I met Scott at work about 3 years ago. He is the guy that made being at work for 8 hours everyday much bearable. I think we get along so well because we have a similar sense of humor and because we one of the most intelligent men in the office (no question about it). He has been there from beginning, when I was shopping around for a ring, to now where that ring has made this day possible. Even though we don’t work together anymore, he was one of the first people I had in mind to be my groomsmen.
