Stop by Rachel’s in town—this local gem is beloved for its freshly baked treats, coffee, and nostalgic small-town charm. Good for fueling up before the ceremony or grabbing a sweet bite the morning after! Ocean Beach also has a nice little downtown and is a great ~15 min bike ride in! There are a lot of local restaurants, bars, shops, and bodegas here.
Take a stroll through the magical Sunken Forest; one of the largest old-growth forests in the Northeast, tucked behind the dunes of Fire Island. Just east of Ocean Bay Park, you can get there by water taxi or with a 30–45 minute beach walk, and enjoy peaceful boardwalk trails shaded by towering trees and coastal wildlife.
