Karen is Avery's Aunt. She is a lawyer and master gardener. She is a stand-in mom to Avery, a guiding light in the darkest of days, and her number one supporter. She is the anchor in her family, bringing everyone together and creating joy and happiness for all those around her. Avery is truly grateful to have her in her life.
Paul Parsons

Paul is Josh's step dad and second father. He is a source of technical knowledge and support that is invaluable to Josh. When he is not working on his 1970s corvette, he is lending a helping hand to friends and family with their DIY projects, or planning the next family excursion. His sense of humor and fun-loving personality continue to keep us all motivated and loving life.

Sydney is an amazing friend. Her and Avery met in New York City on set of a photoshoot, where Sydney was the stylist helping Avery get changed in the back of a rented van as it whizzed down the busy streets of the city. Her quick-witted and funny personality is unmatched. They instantly hit it off and have been friends ever since.
Valen Morris
Best Man
Valen is Josh's longest-standing friend. Josh met Valen in the 5th grade at Baker Elementary school where they became best friends. They have seen each other grow from eleven years old kids into the men they are today. They continue to enjoy hanging out whenever they are not busy adulting.

Jennifer and Avery met in De Anza College while taking early childhood education classes. They would often meet to study in the coffee shop across the street from the college campus. From there blossomed a beautiful friendship. Her bubbly and outgoing nature draws everyone in.

Geoff and Josh met in De Anza college. He is a unique and warm-hearted person who always knows how to be supportive and friendly. He values family and friends, and always knows how to have a good time. Josh's parents love his company, among many others who feel he is overall an honest, good-natured person.

Alicia became part of the family when she married Avery's cousin Trenton. She is always willing to go along with Avery and Josh's crazy family adventures, from off-roading to jet-skiing. She is beautiful and brilliant and has become a sister that Avery never had.

Simone and Josh met while taking a statistics class at De Anza College. He is a sharp dresser who manages his family's restaurant locations with ease. He is easy-to-get-along-with and makes others feel comfortable. His ideas and determination are leading him to great places.

Allen is Josh's maternal grandfather. He is a professor at Peninsula College in Washington, and is a Doctor of internal medicine. His sense of humor is a dominant trait that was passed to the entire family, while his wisdom is a guiding light in good times and bad.
