Question

When Should I Arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 2pm. This will insure an smooth parking situation. There will be welcome speeches and introductions, given before the beginning of the ceremony. You wouldn't want to miss those!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is the dress code for the wedding and reception. We want you to feel comfortable and happy so if you feel like loosening your tie and and busting a move on the dance floor, that is fine too. It is an outdoor wedding and reception, so skip the stilettos and go for a nice block heel or wedge shoe. We will have outdoor heaters but bringing a jacket might be a good idea too.

Question

Where is the reception being held?

Answer

The Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all being conveniently held at Lillaskog Lodge. Doesn't that make life simpler?

Question

Will I need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes, car rental/driving will be required to get to Groveland. Consider carpooling with other family members who are attending the wedding. Road trips can be so fun! Especially when the whole family is going.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to have everyone at our wedding, capacity and budget doesn't allow for us to include plus ones unless previously discussed and invited. Thanks for your understanding and support.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is limited near the lodge, give yourself plenty of time to get there, as the curvy mountain roads can be slow-going, and parking can be complicated! We highly encourage carpooling with other guest and family members. Someone from Lillaskog Staff will be in attendance to help with parking. You are welcome to drop guests and/or items off at the lodge, and then go park the car. There is enough room for about 12-15 cars on the the side of the road above the lodge. The rest of the cars will park on the side of the road down the hill from the lodge. Packard Canyon Road is a county road. There are 3 Forest Service Fire Access roads right around the lodge that CAN NEVER BE BLOCKED. There must be enough room for a fire truck to get by. Blocking the road may result in a fine and/or a tow. This is the responsibility of the renter or owner of the vehicle. Note there is a short walk along the steep, dirt road from where you park to the lodge. We recommend wearing or bringing comfortable shoes for the walk.
