Is there a dress code?

Answer

It is customary to wear formal attire (black tie optional) to the Ceremony and Reception. We would recommend wearing a tuxedo, dark suit, floor-length gown, cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit.

What is the weather like in October in Vicksburg?

Answer

The average daytime temperature is a balmy 75 degrees - around 10 degrees hotter than in New York. However, at night, it can cool down significantly, with the average low temp around 55 degrees.

Will there be transportation from the recommended hotels to wedding events?

Answer

Yes, we are arranging transportation from Anchuca, Duff Green, and the Mulberry to all wedding events. We'll be asking for a headcount and providing further details closer to the wedding date.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be self-parking available for all wedding events.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 5:45 pm at Holy Trinity to be seated. Holy Trinity's rector - a retired Air Force colonel - will be starting the ceremony at 6:00 pm sharp.

Is childcare provided?

We have not arranged for childcare during the wedding events. Please contact David and Avery with any questions.
