Flight

Cherry Capital Airport, Traverse City, MI

The Cherry Capital Airport is the closest and most convenient airport to Traverse City. American, Delta, and United are the three major airlines that fly into TC. Traverse City is a 2-hour drive from the Grand Rapids airport, a 4-hour drive from the Detroit airport and about a 6.5-hour drive from Cleveland.

Shuttle

Shuttle To and From Wedding

A shuttle to and from the wedding ceremony and reception will be provided for those without cars. Pickup locations and times will be determined based on guest hotel bookings. Check back the week of the wedding for the finalized pickup times. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure to ensure you catch a ride.

Getting Around

Uber and Lyft are available, but limited. There is a free bus to downtown Traverse City that runs every 10 minutes and picks up outside the hotels. A rental car isn't necessary, however, if you would like to explore outside of TC to see the beauty of the Leelanau Peninsula, we recommend renting a car. (See our "Things To Do" section for places to visit).

If you would like to explore downtown Traverse City in your free time, the schedule and map for the free Bayline Bus can be found at the link below. It runs from 7am–10pm.

We do not have hotel blocks, so please feel free to book whichever hotel suits you best. The following hotels listed are within walking distance from each other. The shuttle to the wedding will be available from these locations. This area is farther from the venue, however it's the more affordable part of town to stay. There are other beautiful options in downtown Traverse, as well as smaller inns closer to the venue in Suttons Bay if you would like to consider them. There are also Airbnb and Vrbo properties available. (no room blocks)
