Where is the ceremony?

Answer

Saint Xenia Russian Orthodox Church 2 Colchester Square, Kanata, ON K2K 2W9 Ceremony is roughly 1.5 hours long. Limited seating available in pews along walls of the church for those in need. We encourage you to wear comfortable shoes.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The Cereal Barn at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum. 901 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C 3K1 Join us for dinner and music. Toonie Bar will be available onsite.

What time do I need to arrive?

Answer

The Ceremony will start at 3pm August 2nd, 2020. Reception starts at 6pm at the Cereal Barn.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

The most important gift to us is having you share in our special day. As we have lived together for many years, and have all the dishes and linens we need, we have decided not to make a registry for physical gifts. If you wish to contribute in some other way towards our future together as husband and wife, we would love a few pennies to go towards our honeymoon, future home, etc.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is parking available in the lot attached to the church, as well as on the street outside of the church for the ceremony. There is a paid parking at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum for the reception. Are kids welcome?

Answer

We hope that you will understand our decision to make our wedding an intimate, children-free affair. We wish we could include all children, but are unfortunately only able to invite immediate family. Fresh babies/infants are of course welcome, as they are one with mum. We hope you take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!
