Timing: 09.45am - 10.36am The Muhurtham is considered the most auspicious time during the Wedding and is hence the interval in which the Mangal Sutra - thread of marriage, adorned with pendants and icons of family deities - is tied around the bride's neck, akin to a necklace. Of utmost importance, this moment signifies the unification of the bride and groom into a married couple.
