Looking to enjoy an ocean-side walk with plenty of opportunities to sit and take in the gorgeous view? There may be no better place in Maine than along Ogunquit’s Marginal Way. Only 1.25 miles long, the cliff walk wends its way starting at one end near The Sparhawk Oceanfront Resort on Shore Road and brings you along a paved path, past stately hotels and inns, and rocky beaches to Perkins Cove. There are 39 benches located at ideal viewing spots all along the path—perfect for sitting and contemplating the vibrant Atlantic Ocean, or perhaps sketching the sight to share with a friend. Admire the little lighthouse overlooking Ogunquit Beach, enjoy watching sailboats pass by or step off the path to explore a beach or rocky cove. Once you reach Perkins Cove, you can watch the lobster boats come in and maybe pick up today’s catch for dinner or grab some take out from one of the many restaurants nestled along this tiny harbor.
Enjoy the 3.5 miles of white sand beach voted among the 10 best beaches in the U.S.

Our all time favorite lunch/ dinner spot right here! If you want lobster rolls, clams, tuna rolls, clam chowder and more this is the place to go. We HIGHLY recommend you ordering a rum punch or two. Beware though.. they live up to their name and truly pack an alcoholic punch. It's also worth getting a seat on the patio if you can find one. Barnacle Billy's offer's stunning views of Perkins Cove and the famous drawbridge.
According to the O'Shaughnessy/ Winkler clan these are the best hotdogs around. This hotdog "shack" is a classic local's spot. The only items on the menu are steamed hotdogs, chips and soda. We recommend you ordering the "flo dog" for a classic experience but feel free get any toppings you like. Make sure to bring cash! No Credit Cards accepted at this mom & pop spot.
This is one of the "fanciest" restaurants in the area. If you are looking for nice date-night spot where you can eat while looking out at the water, this is the place for you!
One of our favorite spots to grab coffee & pastries.
AMAZING spot for smoothies and acai bowls.
Our favorite ice cream spot in the area and is walking distance to Nubble Light House.
Looking to enjoy a homemade ice cream soda or see salt water taffy being made? Consider a trip to Short Sands in York, ME and visit The Goldenrod. Operating since 1896, this restaurant still holds its original charm.
