Portsmouth is a beautiful little city and we're excited to share some of our favorite local spots with you. Below is a list of some recommended places to visit if you decide to spend some extra time in the area.

Prescott Park

If you have time, we highly recommend taking a stroll to Prescott Park. This is a waterfront park with beautiful gardens and is also the spot where Cody proposed to Elise!

Strawbery Banke Museum

14 Hancock Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801

For the history buffs – visit Strawbery Banke Museum, which is a collection of historical homes, heirloom gardens, and historical roleplayers.

Elephantine Bakery

10 Commercial Alley, Portsmouth, NH 03801

The best bakery in downtown Portsmouth! There's usually a line out the door, so we recommend ordering ahead!

Surf Portsmouth

99 Bow Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801

If you're looking for the best seafood and sushi in Portsmouth, this restaurant is it! This is Elise's favorite restaurant. She highly recommends the Painkiller. They don't take reservations, but if you get there early enough the wait shouldn't be too bad.
