Flights & Travel to Rockland

For our guests traveling from farther away, there are several airports in the area. The closest airport is Knox County Regional Airport (RKD) right in Rockland, ME. Cape Air, a small airline serving the Northeast, operates flights into RKD from major airports in the Northeast. For those who opt to fly into RKD and would like to have access to a car over the weekend, there is an Enterprise ten minutes away in Thomastown, ME. The closest international airport is Portland International Jetport (PWM) in Portland, ME. From there, it is a beautiful 1.5 hour drive along the coast to Rockland. There are several rental car companies (Enterprise, Avis, Alamo, etc.) that operate at PWM. We do recommend renting a car to explore the area over the weekend!
