The Farnsworth Art Museum offers a nationally recognized collection of works from many of America’s greatest artists and has the nation's largest collections of the paintings of the Wyeth family: N.C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth, and Jamie Wyeth. Truly worth a visit!
Located close to downtown Rockland, the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse is located at the end of a 7/8-mile long breakwater.
Our favorite lighthouse in the area with stunning views of Penobscot Bay. There are some short walking trails as well.
Camden Hills State Park is a beautiful hiking area nearby in Camden, ME. There are many hiking and trail running routes, ranging from 1 to 10 miles.
A 1 mile loop winds through the forest to the shoreline, offering spectacular views of Penobscot Bay and Ash Island. This trail is close to Birch Point State Park, which has one of our favorite beaches in the area.
