Where is it?

Answer

We are having the wedding on the property! The address is 588 Opequon Rd. Berryville, VA 22611. There are two houses with this address, it is the one right by the Opequon Creek. Please use the second property entrance, there will be a visual indicator of which entrance to go through. We will be having the wedding and reception on the end of the property opposite of where the houses are.

How do We Find It?

Answer

There are two gates to enter the property, you are going to drive up through the one with the balloons or flowers tied to it and park where the signs direct. Both the ceremony and the reception will be held here. Parking will be in the field near the party. Carpool if you can, but there is plenty of space.

What's the dress code?

Answer

The wedding is outdoor and semi-formal, so dress comfortably for the terrain. Think dressy but practical—block heels, boots, or flats over stilettos, and bring a light layer in case it gets chilly. Think maxi dresses, fall suits, etc. Men, jackets preferred.

Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Guests will be seated at their tables for the ceremony, and afterward, we’ll transition straight into the reception without moving locations.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

This is a fully outdoor wedding, and while we’re hoping for clear skies, we encourage guests to check the forecast and dress accordingly. We’ll have tents for shelter to keep everyone covered, but please plan for the elements—bring a jacket if it’s chilly, and wear shoes suited for grass or uneven ground. Feel free to bring a clear umbrella to use during the ceremony! If the weather looks particularly wild, we’ll send updates via email and this website.

There will be a designated area nearby for parking with signs. Carpooling is encouraged!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones, but due to budget and space limitations, our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of the children in the wedding party and their siblings. We hope you can enjoy a relaxing, kid-free evening celebrating with us! Please note, we may be adding kids as people RSVP that they can't make it If you are unable to find childcare due to travel, please reach out!

Is the reception child friendly?

Answer

Yes! Except for a restricted, adults-only bonfire that will be clearly marked with a "No children past this point" sign. This bonfire will have rum, cigars, and joints for those who prefer not to drink, but still want to let loose. There will be a family friendly bonfire on the other end of the reception with activities for kids. There will also be standard party/club music played at the reception which has adult themes.
