We recommend that our guests book accommodations early, as Homer lodging in the summer season tends to fill quickly. Air BNB, the Aspen Hotel and online booking websites are all wonderful places to find a spot! If you are struggling to find accommodations don't hesitate to reach out, we are ready to help :)

Transportation

While Homer hosts many lovely things, reliable public transportation is not one of them. We recommend that guests plan with their friends and family to have access to a rental car as Uber and Lyft pretty much don't operate, and taxis are expensive.

Can I camp in Homer?

While camping can be a wonderful and affordable option, the weather in Alaska can be unpredictable. That being said, any camper who is prepared for all-season camping (most importantly a little rain) could definitely camp for free or very inexpensively in the Homer area!
