Justin and Hailey's story began in 2019 where they met through a friend while attending school. Justin approached the table that Hailey was sitting at in the Student Union to talk to her friend Sidney about how sore he was after their mixed martial arts practice the night before (there is more to the story but we will save that for another day). After the conversation, Hailey asked Sidney if he was in a relationship and it turns out that Sidney thought he was even though he really wasn't. A few weeks later Hailey and Justin matched on a dating app. The two started messaging and decided to meet each other the very next day at school. When they met, there was an instant connection between the two and they spent hours talking. After meeting each other, they both knew that they would be great friends! Fast forward 3 years and they are best friends and getting married!

Hailey flew in to California to visit Justin while he was training for his job. While she was there, Justin was planning to take her to a very nice restaurant so they could have a romantic dinner. On the way to the dinner he wanted to show her a spot that he had found and he brought her to this beautiful garden in Pismo Beach, CA that had these beautiful lavender flowers in bloom and a white gazebo overlooking the shore. While he was taking pictures of her in the white gazebo, he had her turn around, got on one knee and had her face him and asked the big question, and she said yes!
