Nick A and Max started as roommates at Colorado Mesa University where they were attached at the hip. They spent countless hours together from college shenanigans to bike related road trips. Nick is also one of the few, if not only, people Max has worn a dress with.

Hanna Mork

Hanna and Ellie met during Ellie's freshman year of college on the cycling team at CMU where they instantly became best friends and were inseparable. Many memories were made on the ski hill, biking to coffee shops, sightseeing in Alaska, and late nights at the library. Max and Hanna used to joke about having shared custody of Ellie.

Big Mike

Big Mike (Michael Della Ratta) and Max met in the second half of their freshman year at CMU and instantly became good friends. Mike, Max, Nick, and Charles spent much of the remainder of their time at CMU together (even as roommates.) Mike and Max both share a passion for Rolling Rock Beer.

Ivy Eski

Ivy and Ellie have been friends since they were 12 and 14 years old where they met through cross country skiing and immediately became good friends. They were on the xc skiing state championship team together, raced on team Alaska for skiing, and even ran a marathon together in 2024.

Charles Buchloh

Max and Charles met around the same time as Max and Mike, about halfway through their first year at CMU. Charles and Max spent countless hours together and even competed side by side on their collegiate e-sports team. What a Save!

Aubrey LeClair

Ellie and Aubrey became good friends in middle school and were on the cross country ski team together through high school. They were often found running or skiing through the mountains together and also raced on the high school state team and on team AK with Ivy.

Sheyne Lieber

Sheyne and Max met early on in high school and became great friends throughout the following years. Sheyne even taught Max how to ride a motorcycle which ended up with Max in the hospital.

Bailey Scanlan

Ellie met Bailey during her freshman year of college where they were on the cycling team together. They became good friends and eventually roommates and have many memories of biking to the coffee shop, long weekend rides together, and mountain biking all over Colorado.

Deklin Emmons

Deklin and Max actually met before the age of 10 in a ballet focused dance class but became best of friends in high school. Deklin was around for many of Max's firsts, including school dances, class projects, and totaling one of Max's cars in a very large puddle.

Katie Clouse

Ellie and Katie had been racing bikes in the same age category since 2016 and unexpectedly were suite mates as freshmen in college where they instantly became good friends. They were roommates for several years and made many memories continuing to race and ride bikes together and are now both pursuing careers in medicine.

Nick Rainy

Nick and Max met through mutual friends in their Sophomore year of high school. They have enjoyed many days on the ski hill and in Nicks backyard together. Nick and Max started a rollerblading career together, it lasted about a week.

Maggie Mitchell

The wedding party wouldn't be complete without Ellie's younger sister Maggie. As someone who has known Ellie for almost her whole life it seems only fitting. Maggie's even been to Max's BMX races, and took Ellie and Max horseback riding in the UK.
