Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Maxwell Austin and Ellie Mitchell
There is plenty to do in Palisade and Grand Junction, here are some of our favorites!

Colorado National Monument

Grand Junction, CO 81507

Highly recommend! A very scenic area right outside of Grand Junction with lots of view points and short hiking routes. There is a fee of $25 per vehicle to drive into the park.

Palisade Sunday Farmer's Market

East 3rd Street, Palisade, CO 81526

One of our all-time favorites! The palisade farmers market takes place on Sunday mornings where local vendors sell all kinds of produce, baked goods, and home-made arts. Peaches won't quite be in season yet but there will still be plenty to find!

Palisade Rim Trail Head

Palisade, CO 81526

If you're looking for a nice hike with good views this is a must! This out-and-back hike will take you above palisade and is easy to make short or long (although will start with a steady incline)

Candle Kitchen GJ

120 North 5th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501

You get a full on candle making experience at the candle kitchen where you get to pick out scents and design your own candle.

Trail Life Brewing

436 Main Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501

One of the places we miss the most in Grand Junction is Trail Life Brewery. They serve lots of local beer as well as cocktails and the food is very good! You must try one of their alcohol or non-alcoholic "sloshes". Check out the used gear store next door as well!
