Part ranch, part movie set! Packed with ATV, bicycle, or bus tours to check out the sets of the Jurassic Park Movie (be sure to book a tour early if you wish)! Beautiful mountains and landscapes await! This also serves as the backdrop for our wedding venue! Since it's also a ranch, you can check out all the local produce they have to offer as well as interact with the many animals that live there.
We absolutely love the mochi pastries here (malasadas). If you don't want to make the drive out to Leonards and want a little less mess (no filling) take a walk over to Duke's Market, which is right outside any of the hotel blocks we chose. Be sure to come before 2pm, because they will stop making them! We love the mango and ube flavors!
Our favorite Shave Ice in Hawaii! Who can say know to their cute little mascots? We love any of the coconut or melon flavors - make sure to get condensed milk or a milky snow cap addon!
Looking for Asian food? Inside the marketplace is Mitsuya, where there are plentiful bento boxes for takeout to the beach and a ton of other Asian treats. Also, the marketplace is home to some bougie retailers if you're into high end fashion.
Hawaii is sprinkled with so many Foodland stores! You can choose any of them and get some of the freshest (and best priced!) poke Hawaii has to offer. Our favorite Foodland location is in Ala Moana mall, but all of the other ones offer fresh poke as well!
