General Information

Stanley, Idaho is a little off grid - cell service can be hit or miss - but that's part of its charm. The Boise (BOI) airport will likely be your cheapest/most direct flight option, but check out the other airports below to see what works best for your travel preferences and budget. No matter where you fly into, you will need a rental car as Ubers and rideshare options are not available. Since Stanley is pretty remote, we recommend staying for at least two nights to enjoy more of what the area has to offer— hiking, scoping out hot springs, or just soaking in the mountain views. Keep in mind, cabins and campsites in the area book up fast, so definitely make your reservations early. If you’re craving a little more luxury, there are some great upscale spots in Ketchum/Sun Valley, just about an hour away.

Airports: BOI / SUN / TWF

Boise Airport (BOI) 2.5 - 4 hours to wedding venue (depending on route) This is the largest regional airport served by Alaska, Allegiant, American, Avelo, Delta, Southwest, Spirit, and United. There are car rentals available on the website as well. Boise Airport (BOI) is 3.5 hours away by car and is a scenic drive from the Boise foothills along the Payette River to the mountains of Stanley. We recommend stopping at Kirkham Hot Springs along the way! Most economical option. Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) 1 hour and 30 minutes from wedding venue Direct flights available from Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Denver and Chicago. Served by Delta, Alaska, and United Airlines. Fly into Sun Valley in Hailey, Idaho; closest airport option to wedding venue Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) is the easiest and closest airport to fly into. Most major airlines fly into SUN and it is approximately an hour away from Stanley. Once you get to SUN, we recommend renting a car as there are no shuttles from Sun Valley to Stanley. Magic Valley Regional Airport (TWF) 2 hours 55 minutes to wedding venue Located in Twin Falls, ID, this town is home to The Perrine Bridge - Evel Knievel's most daring and final jump across the Snake River Canyon... and it’s also the hometown of our handsome groom!
