It all started on October 27, 2018, at a Halloween party Teresa wasn’t even planning to attend. With minimal enthusiasm and zero costume prep, she rummaged through the closet and landed on a last-minute Girl Scout costume. Meanwhile, Austin... well, if you were at the party, you know what his costume was. And if you weren’t, we suggest asking him directly—it’s unforgettable. What began as some playful banter turned into a phone number exchange by the end of the night. A few months, and a couple of politely declined dates later (thank goodness for Austin's determination and persistency), we had our first official date on January 9, 2019, at Leaf & Bean. A simple lunch turned into a spark neither of us could ignore. We saw each other the very next day and pretty much every day after that. From there, our relationship took shape around friendship, trust, a shared sense of humor, and a deep appreciation for family. In 2021, we took the next big step: moving in together and diving headfirst into the joys (and not-so-glamorous parts) of homeownership. Over the years, we’ve created a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Whether we’re jet skiing on Sodus Bay, traveling to new places (some of our favorite trips include Chicago, Cape Cod, Scottsdale, and Hawaii), or simply dancing in the kitchen on a Friday night sipping wine, we’re always happiest together. We’re so grateful for the people who’ve been part of our journey and can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter; hand in hand, forever and always.
