Question

I have specific dietary needs. What should I do?

Answer

We are aware of many of our guests' dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, nut-free, and gluten-free. We are trying our best to include those options in the general catering menu or purchase additional pans of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Is the venue outdoor or indoor?

Answer

The venue is completely outdoor. The ceremony will be on the mansion terrace, and the reception will be under a large pavilion. In the event that it rains, the venue will provide tents to keep guests dry. Accordingly, we ask that our guests consider the weather when choosing an outfit. We recommend that guests not wear heels, because the venue has many grassy areas that would cause heels to sink. Though we recommend semi-formal dress, we would rather our guests be comfortable than adhere to a strict dress code. Please feel free to vary on the attire recommendation if adhering to such would cause discomfort.

Is there an open or cash bar?

Answer

We will have an open bar during the reception. The bar tenders will only serve alcohol to guests over twenty-one years of age. However, we will additionally stock the bar with soda, iced tea, and other non-alcoholic drinks.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests will move to the pavilion for the cocktail hour and reception. During the cocktail hour, there will be trays of various appetizers. Shortly after, the caterers will serve the reception dinner buffet-style. Then, we will open up the dancefloor!
