Travel Note

Preferred driving route up from Phoenix

The drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to Sedona is about 2 hours. Once you get on the I-17 northbound its pretty much a straight shot. Sometimes GPS services will take you through Cottonwood. However, if you stay on the I-17 and take exit 298 to join the 179 north to Sedona you will enjoy a beautiful scenic route.

Flight

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (KPHX)

Phoenix Sky Harbor is most likely the easiest way for guests to arrive as they have the most options. However flying into Prescott KPRC is another nearby airport. It also still has rental cars available and is only a 1.5 hour drive to Sedona, allowing you to stop in the unique mountainside town of Jerome. Flagstaff KFLG may also have options.
