Salt River Tubing

Salt River Tubing

AZ

Austin and Logan's favorite activity to do down in the Phoenix area. From Sedona this is about a 2.5 hour drive. The water in this river is COLD. It is a great way to cool off! There is a company that you can rent tubes from and catch a shuttle ride up the canyon but it is a little pricey. If you get a couple of friends and some Walmart inner tubes there are many parking lots along the river that you could park at. Depending on what lot you park in the float can take 2-4 hours. To avoid the shuttle fee if you go with a group it is easiest to leave one car downstream, all hop in another car and drive to a lot upriver. Then enjoy the float back down to the first car and retrieve the vehicles.
