We’ve decided to host our wedding in the backyard of our parents’ home—a place that feels truly special and where we feel most at home. While Liberty has limited lodging options, there are plenty of wonderful places to stay nearby. We highly recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible to secure your spot. Please see below for our recommendations. We are so grateful for everyone traveling to celebrate with us—it means the world. For those considering where to stay, Ogden is the furthest option from the venue, but it’s also the closest town with restaurants, shopping, and activities. If you’d prefer a more relaxed experience, we recommend staying in the valley near the venue. It’s peaceful, scenic, and makes for an easy wedding weekend—just keep in mind that dining and activities are more limited compared to Ogden.

Flight

Salt Lake City

All guests should plan to fly into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), the nearest major airport to our wedding location. While Uber and Lyft are easy to find at the SLC airport, they are not readily available in the valley where the wedding will take place. Shuttle service will run day of wedding only & exclusively from Wolf Creek. Guests staying elsewhere will need to arrange their own transportation—either to Wolf Creek to catch the shuttle or directly to the venue. Please be sure to book any ride services in advance, as on-demand options are unreliable in the valley. Important! Wolf Creek Resort is the closest lodging option to our venue — and the location where the wedding day shuttle will run to and from. While there’s a small hotel on property, we highly recommend booking one of the many nearby Airbnbs or VRBOs within walking distance of Wolf Creek. Staying here will make transportation easy and allow you to take advantage of the shuttle service directly from Wolf Creek without needing any additional arrangements. If you’re staying somewhere else but want to ride the shuttle, be sure to plan ahead to get yourself to Wolf Creek by pre-booking an uber or private ride. This is the furthest option, but Ogden is a great town with shopping, sights, and plenty of food options. We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott for our guests. To take advantage of the discounted rate, please use our booking link or mention our wedding block when calling. Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking as soon as possible. Please note: there will not be a shuttle to and from this hotel. If you’d like to use the wedding shuttle, plan to make your way to Wolf Creek by prebooking an uber or driver. Shuttle timing and pick-up details will be shared closer to the wedding.

Travel Note

North Fork Park Campground

For our adventurous local friends, there’s a beautiful campsite just 0.4 miles from the venue. To ensure you enter through the south entrance, the easiest way to get there is to continue about 0.5 miles past the Batal Home (5993 N 2250 E, Liberty, UT 84310). Campsite parking will be on the left—you can’t miss it! We recommend reserving a spot in Loop A, as it’s within walking distance of the venue.
