Maid of Honor
Marlie kept the bride in (mostly) once piece while they each navigated their ways through undergrad at Mississippi College. She also graduated nursing school with the bride's older brother, Matthew Milling.
Best Man
Corey is the groom's older brother. He and his wife, Stacy Bewley May, have been married since April of 2016. As Austin likes to say, "He's been like a brother to me for as long as I can remember."
Bridesmaid
Dr. Emilee Peeples Milling has been the bride's sister-in-law since June of 2011. Emilee is a pediatric dentist at Simmons, Young, and Milling in Jackson, MS. Matthew and Emilee welcomed the bride's first niece, Julia, on October 19, 2016. Jane, the bride's second niece, was welcomed to the world just recently, on August 20, 2018!
Groomsman
Matthew is the bride's older brother, married to Dr. Emilee Peeples Milling, and proud daddio of 2 year-old Julia Charlotte and 4 month-old Jane Elizabeth. He is currently a CRNA at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS. Emilee and Matthew have recently built a new home where the original Milling house once stood, where the bride and Matthew grew up.
Bridesmaid
Destiny is the bride's second cousin. Originally from Mississippi, she and her big, beautiful, immediate family all currently live (incredibly too far away!) in Plano, TX. Destiny is currently enjoying her junior year at Texas State University majoring in finance.
Groomsman
Wesley and the groom have been best friends since kindergarten as well as growing up only about a mile apart. He studied music at Mississippi State University and is a very talented guitarist. On any given night, he and the groom can be spotted playing Magic the Gathering and debating metal music trends.
Dog of Honor
June rescued the bride on June 11, 2014. The rest is simply history. This pup is extra special, and so is the bond between this particular pairing of pup and human. June and Anna Kathryn are a pretty inseparable pair. In fact, the bride actually brought June to her first date with the groom! It's rare to catch a sighting of one without the other close by, and we wouldn't possibly have it any other way on our wedding day. *PLEASE NOTE, June is HIGHLY allergic to wheat and chicken. No, we're not kidding. We sure wish we were. During the reception, please be mindful of any people-food that may escape your plate or napkin. Pretty please.*
Officiant
Chane is a tough one to describe, folks. Even though our ceremony will be oh-so short and sweet, he'll be sure to make us crack a smile or two before he gets us to "I do." The bride actually worked for Chane back in the day at his skate shop and boutique in Fondren, which is the arts and outcasts' district of Jackson, MS. He's definitely one of a kind, his wife is a total gem, and his pups are stellar- especially the human one! ;)
