FAQs

Question

Are the kiddos invited?

Answer

We love kids so much that the bride is going to TEACH them! But we would love for our night to be an excuse for you to have the night off, too! However, if you can't find a sitter for the afternoon, we certainly don't want that to be the reason we don't get to celebrate with you.

Question

What's the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

The Lake House venue has quite a large parking lot designated for just us, right in front of the building. If you're uncertain, it's a pretty safe bet to just make sure you park between the two main restaurants on the Ridgeland Reservoir: Cock of The Walk, and Pelican Cove.

Question

Wait.. THERE'S GONNA BE A DOG?!?

Answer

Yep. The bride's 4.5 year old pup, June, will be the Dog of Honor right next to her! Not all pups can attend, however. June has fancy shmancy paperwork that allows the bride to keep the world's best (and cutest) sidekick with her whenever she needs her. If you have any allergies, please let us know asap!

Question

Is the ceremony wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The venue building is accessible on the lower level where the reception will be. However, this historic building was constructed before the regulations had been established, so the short ceremony upstairs will be the only limitation.

Question

Dancing shoes, or no dancing shoes

Answer

Definitely bring your dancing shoes. Music is a big deal to both the bride and groom, and as such, this reception playlist is packed full of upbeat 80's and the bride's favorite 90's jams. If we don't see you at least pretending to dance at some point during the evening, we will be very sad at you.
