Answer
No. She won't become Nicole Austin-Hodges-Austin or any other variation. She is ready to just have one last name. And please just stop asking her... she's heard all the options.

Hey, where is my RSVP card?
Answer
We opted to not include them in our invites. We wanted to minimalize paper use as much as possible to respect our planet and it cost a bit more to include them. What altitude is the venue?
Answer
The venue is at 9,000 feet. For those unfamiliar with Colorado, altitude can impact you in multiple ways. Please drink plenty of water and be aware of altitude sickness symptoms.

From web-md: headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, fatigue and loss of energy, shortness of breath, problems with sleep, loss of appetite.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Ceremony is at 5:00pm. We suggest arriving around 4:45pm to get settled. If you are late, we will try and seat you after the precession.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail/Semi Formal. Please bear in mind the venue is in the mountains of Colorado in October. It will get chilly once the sun goes down. Heels are strongly discouraged. The venue is outside with no cement/pavement. All the paths are either dirt or gravel so heels would be uncomfortable at best.

We will be having a family style buffet with beef short ribs and creamy garlic chicken as well as roasted veggies and salad. Each dish is GF.

Where are you going for your Honeymoon?
Answer
Germany and the Netherlands! Through shear coincidence, James's work is sending him to Germany the week after our wedding for Essen Spiel which is the largest table-top gaming event in the world. So we are going to spend a couple of days in Germany and then pop over to Amsterdam for a couple of days. We are very excited!

Will there be any shuttles or ubers available?
Answer
At this time, we will not be arranging shuttles. Our venue has multiple on-site stays (more being added in 2025) and there are numerous Airbnb's within 5 min of the venue. We trust our guests to make safe and healthy decisions. If a large number of guests are in one of the hotels on our travel page, we will reconsider. Because of the remoteness of the venue, Ubers/Lyfts/cabs are not available. Yes! There is a gym with various games and other activities to help entertain kids plus several friends, guests and family with have their babies in attendance.

Why is your registry so bougie?
Answer
Look, we are in our early/mid 30s and have been living on our own for 10+ years... We have everything we need to function daily so we decided to get a little "extra" with our registry. Just about everything is a group gift so you can contribute what you are comfortable with. And at the end of the day, we don't really care about any of these gifts, we care about you. Period. Whether you decide to join us in person or in heart, we are grateful that you are in our lives and that's all the gift we could ever need/want.

Why are you getting married in the middle of the week?
Answer
A couple of reasons. Mainly, those were the dates available for our beautiful venue. Additionally, weddings are expensive as sh*t, having the ceremony during the week saves us a lot of money! We understand that having a Wednesday wedding limits travel options for many folks, if you can't make it we understand and will miss you.
