Dressy but grass-friendly! We want everyone looking nice for our photographer, but we also want you to be able to win at Cornhole. We recommend semi-formal attire with sensible shoes for our outside ceremony. If you're looking for inspiration, our colors are deep jewel tones, so think teal, emerald, sapphire, etc...
We're taking our "I dos" to the great outdoors! As long as the weather cooperates, our ceremony will take place at the venue's beautiful outside space. However, we know Kansas Octobers like to keep us on our toes. If the weather becomes too adventurous, we'll move to the indoor backup space right on the property. We highly recommend bringing a jacket or extra layer so you can stay cozy in the autumn air.
The ceremony officially kicks on at 4:00 P.M. To make sure you're settled and comfortable before things get moving, we recommend arriving between 3:30 and 3:45 P.M. Austin is skeptical, but Chelsie has promised she'll be ready and walking down the aisle on time! To help her win this bet, please try to be in your seats by 3:55 P.M. If you arrive any later, you might become part of the processional!
While we would love to celebrate with everyone, we can only accommodate those specifically listed on your RSVP. If yours says "and Guest," then the more the merrier! If not, we promise you'll be in great company with plenty of wonderful people.
We love your little ones! We've specifically included the names of all invited kiddos on your invitation. If your child's name is listed, we can't wait to see them!
Please let us know if you can make it by September 4, 2026. We have to give our vendors a final headcount shortly after that, and as much as we'd love hunting you down for an answer, we'll likely be working hard on final touches and preparations. If we don't hear from you by then, we'll assume you're celebrating us from afar.
There is plenty of parking right on-site! There's a large gravel lot right by the inn and a short walk from the ceremony and reception spaces.
We invite you to be totally present during our vows and completely unplug during the ceremony. Our photographer promises to capture all the big moments so you don't have to, and we promise she's good at her job. Once we hit the reception, feel free to snap away!
Your presence at our wedding is truly all we could ask for, but if you'd like to help us celebrate with a gift, we are registered here on Zola.
