The Wedding Website of Alison Bell and Austin Canney
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-casual / Festive. Feel free to dress up, have fun, but remember this will be an outdoor wedding in the spring in Boise so be prepared for just about any type of weather. Don’t feel the need to wear something uncomfortable just to look fancy. Also this will be almost entirely on a lawn so I really don’t recommend stiletto heals!!!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 15th. We get that things may change last minute but this will help us give the caterer the final amounts so no one goes hungry (or thirsty!) the night of.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00 so please arrive at 3:30.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check out our travel page for hotel recommendations!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do!! I have planned on having a few Vegan/Dairy Free/Gluten Free options but it would help for me to have a headcount of all those needing those options so feel free to reach out to us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Absolutely! We just ask that you let us know via RSVP that you will be bringing someone so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at the venue, but we do also recommend using Lyft/Uber the night of so that there’s no drinking and driving. There are some good hotels pretty close to the venue so fares wouldn’t be too much.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adults only occasion.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do not have transportation between the hotels and ceremony site, but the area typically has lots of Lyft/Ubers available for safe rides to and from!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Ohhh I wish I knew the answer! I’ll try to update this as we get close, but when packing make sure to plan for everything from the mid 80’s down to raining in the 40’s. We will have heaters and shawls ect in case of inclement weather, but it’s always good to bring your own coat as well. I won’t be in the least bit offended if you bring a change of clothes in case the weather gets a little crazy!

For all the days along the way
