Trillium Lake
Located less than 5 miles from downtown Government Camp, Trillium Lake offers great views of Mt. Hood, hiking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, picnicking, and camping! There is an easy 2mile loop hike around the lake. Day use area has a $10 parking fee.
Hood River
Hood River has a small town vibe and is located in the Columbia River Gorge. There are cute shops, nice restaurants, good breweries, wineries, and great views. Some of our favorite spots are Ferment Brewing, Double Mountain Brewery, Full Sail Brewing Company, Cathedral Ridge Winery, Doppio Coffee, Solstice Wood Fire Pizza, and Mikes Ice Cream. Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area
We highly recommend driving through the Columbia River Gorge on your way to or from the wedding. Simply put the view are gorgeous, and there’s so much to see and do along the way!
