St Nicholas Orthodox Church
St. Nicholas is a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) that is made of a diverse mix of lifelong Orthodox Christians and converts from all backgrounds and many countries. Priests Seraphim Holland and Nicholas Park faithfully provide services all through the week while the Brotherhood and Sisterhood oversee community projects, providing food for guests and visitors, doing service projects, and supporting the church community.
This dynamic community has been so welcoming to AunJelle (Michaela) and she looks forward to being able to worship and “do life” alongside her new husband the lovely people of St Nicholas. May God and the Saints always watch over us.
St Nicholas is located at 708 S Chestnut Street in McKinney, Texas, just down the road from historic downtown McKinney. The church is surrounded by a lovely city with many things to do, an abundance of restaurants, and some fun family activities. Please see our favorites in the “Things to Do” tab.
