What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is cocktail attire. We encourage you to dress stylishly, but comfortably, as we plan to have a fun, relaxed celebration!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

The only people we would like to invite are listed on the invitations. If you’d like to bring someone else, they must be approved by myself and Nolyn. We're trying to keep the wedding intimate, so we ask that you be considerate of our wishes and the additional costs that extra guests would incur.

Is the wedding child-free?

Answer

Yes, our wedding will be adult-only with a few exceptions. Any child over the age of 15 is welcome to attend if they are listed on the invitation. We ask that you please respect our wishes and leave younger children at home, as we’re keeping the event intimate. Thank you for your understanding!

Where is the wedding located?

Our wedding will be held at The Bargeway Pub in The Dalles, Oregon. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of you in the heart of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP online via the link provided on our wedding website. If for any reason the online RSVP doesn’t work, feel free to call or text either of us to let us know if you can attend.

Will there be food at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a few appetizers, including bacon-wrapped pepperdews, to get everyone started. For the main course, we’ll be serving a delicious taco bar with plenty of options for everyone to enjoy.

What kind of entertainment will there be?

We have an exciting night planned with a DJ to keep the celebration going! We can't wait to see everyone join in on the fun and dance the night away.

Why doesn't your registry focus on physical gifts?

Answer

Per request, we’ve added a few physical gifts to our registry, but we’re still focusing on funding our honeymoon. We’d love for this new chapter to be filled with experiences rather than things, so contributions toward our honeymoon and future adventures mean the world to us. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you’d like to give, we deeply appreciate your support in making our dreams come true!

Where do I park?

Answer

Please do not park in the venues main parking lot. There will be signs leading toward the event overflow parking lot. There should also be event signs leading you in the right direction.

Is it an open bar?

Answer

Everyone over 21 gets two drink tickets to use at the bar. If you’re still thirsty after that, the bar’s got you covered (but your wallet might not 😉). We think two will do the trick!

Is there anything we should avoid?

Answer

Yes—please avoid diving into political topics. We all know the times can feel weird and uncomfortable, and our hope is for this day to be centered on love, joy, and family. Steering clear of political conversations will help everyone relax, connect, and celebrate without any awkwardness.
