Woah, we’re doin it!

We met in 2022 at JBLM in Washington. Nolyn had a crush on me right away, but as his platoon leader, I only saw him as one of my soldiers with a charming southern accent from Alabama. He patiently waited while I went through some unfulfilling relationships. Everything changed when he made his move after leaving the Army and asked me out on a date. I gave him a chance, and that’s when I realized how special he was. I knew he was the one when I saw how genuinely happy he was making me happy, always going out of his way to take care of me. Our early days were filled with so much fun—blind karaoke sessions, game nights with Mario Kart and Just Dance, and him surprising me with meals from my favorite video games and series, like Skyrim and Harry Potter. We even used to drive around with mustaches on just to avoid being recognized and bothered. Our love story reached new heights when Nolyn proposed, when we were in a beautiful flower garden in Germany.
