Airport: Naples International Airport (NAP) Most visitors heading for the Amalfi Coast fly into Naples or if already in the country make their way from Rome or Salerno. The nearest airport to Positano is Naples. Spend a few days in Naples then catch a ferry, train, or hire a driver to get to the Amalfi Coast.

Airport: Leonardo Da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) You can make a stop in Rome and explore before heading to Naples. You can either take the train from Rome to Naples and then jump on a 40 min ferry ride to Positano.

Hotel Poseidon is a stunning, family-run, 4-star hotel in the heart of Positano. As one of the best hotels in Positano Italy, they also have one of the most beautiful views. You can enjoy these views from your room (depending on which you book), the lovely on-site restaurant, and the pool. It’s located right in the center of town, just one minute from the main beach in Positano, and comes with a full kitchen. If you do have a group of six, this is actually quite inexpensive when you break it down per person, starting at just $455/night.
