Lauren is more than deserving of her Matron of Honor title, as she has known Megan since the day she was born! She is Megan’s older sister, best friend, and the mom of Megan’s beloved niece and nephew. Megan and Lauren have been through thick and thin together and continue to share life’s best moments—whether that’s spending time with the kids and family, devouring boxes of mac and cheese, or enjoying summer pool days. Megan's MOH speech at Lauren's wedding was top notch, so bring it on Lauren!

Alyssa Gilman

Alyssa was Megan’s college roommate and remains one of her closest friends. They lived together all four years of college and have stayed close ever since. Alyssa is best known for her resourcefulness and her ability to help with absolutely anything—whether it’s wedding planning or finding the perfect Airbnb deal. Megan feels incredibly lucky to have Alyssa by her side on her wedding day!

Kristen Nelson

Kristen is one of Megan’s suitemates from UMass Lowell and continues to be one of her best friends. Whether they’re binge-watching TV shows on the couch, keeping each other company on night shifts, or reading side by side at the beach, Megan and Kristen always have fun together. Megan couldn’t imagine her wedding day without Kristen standing beside her as a bridesmaid!

Emily Maillet

Emily entered Megan’s life when they became suitemates at UMass Lowell freshman year, and they’ve been sharing laughs, silly dance moves and core memories ever since. Always up for an adventure, Emily and Megan went on spring break four years in a row, went on many girls trips and explored national parks in Montana together. Megan is so grateful to call Emily one of her best friends and to have her as a bridesmaid!

Michelle Chernaik

Although Michelle didn’t become a college suitemate until sophomore year, she was an adopted roommate because she was always in Kristen, Emily, Alyssa and Megan's suite. Megan is so thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid. From playing club soccer in college to taking their dogs on fun adventures now, Michelle has remained one of Megan’s closest friends. Megan will always cherish having Michelle by her side on her wedding day!

Meghan Long

Meghan is John’s younger sister, and Megan is so happy to have her as one of her bridesmaids. Together, Megan and Meghan have shared many special memories—from holidays at the Long household and the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Southie to even meeting up in Denmark to visit Ann’s extended family. Megan is honored to include Meghan in her wedding day! Sorry Meghan, you won't be the only Meg(h)an Long anymore!

Stephen Ganley

Stephen and John’s friendship began in youth sports in Danvers, where they played baseball and football together and planned countless ski trips. That bond carried through college and beyond, as both lived and worked in the Boston area after graduation. You can always count on Steve to bring energy into any room and he’s truly one of the most selfless people you’ll ever meet.

Daniel Long

Dan is John’s older brother and one of his earliest role models. He shares many of John’s passions, including Boston sports, strength training, and love for family. Dan’s intense devotion to Boston sports has sparked many debates in the Long household, but they always manage to find common ground.

Drew Goldstein

Drew is one of John’s closest friends from college. They met freshman year and famously split an entire jug of “hippie juice” on John’s 19th birthday—thank you, Nance. From that moment on, they were always involved in each other's lives, bonding over Boston sports, flag football, and John’s annual attendance at the Goldstein Passover party.

Kyle Cahill

John’s parents coined the term “My Brazilian Son” for Kyle because he was constantly around for random dinners, parties, and family events. One of John’s closest friends from Danvers, Kyle shares many memories with him—from backyard football games to adventures in the woods behind Kyle’s house. They also share a passion for golf and try to play together as often as their fiancées will allow.

Sam Perel

Sam became one of John’s closest friends while playing youth basketball together in Danvers. John’s dad still believes Sam had the most raw talent on the team—a claim that remains open for debate. Their friendship continued through the years as they attended St. John’s Prep together and later lived near each other in the Boston area.

Madison Hofmeester

Known by many nicknames—Dutch, Hof, Darvy—Madison was one of John’s closest friends at St. John’s Prep. They share a passion for travel and have taken several memorable trips together, including visiting Madison at school in Montreal, traveling to Ireland and Amsterdam, and surfing in the Outer Banks.

Christopher Weimert

Another friend with countless nicknames, though most know him as “Mert,” Chris is John’s oldest friend. They met in preschool at the Learning Tree and have spent countless hours together celebrating Boston sports championships, skiing throughout the Northeast, and battling it out in intense 2K games.

Tommy met John shortly after he began dating Megan, and they quickly bonded over shared interests like golfing, skiing, and making mudslides. He’s a great friend and an incredible brother—just be sure his schedule is clear and doesn’t involve a boat trip or a haircut.
