You bet it does! We will be using the readings for the liturgical day (Holy Family) and therefore the wedding is actually just part of a Mass.
Every person is most welcome to praise God and participate in the mass! Because when we receive the Host we receive the body of Christ, it is crucial for us to know Who we are receiving and to have prepared our hearts accordingly. We ask everyone attending our wedding who is a confirmed Catholic to attend confession before receiving the Eucharist if not in a state of grace. For those who are not Catholic, we encourage you to proceed with everyone in the line with your arms crossed for a blessing. (Anyone can go through RCIA and eventually receive the body of Christ- talk to us if you're interested :D )
Feel free to mosey on over to the parish hall for cocktail hour during the hour between mass ending and dinner!
After final call and the lights come on, everyone is welcome to stay in the Parish Hall to enjoy company and leftovers until the new year bell is rung!
Veiling is a tradition for Catholic women since the beginning of the Church, and many women nowadays do it as a reminder of the Love of Christ for His Church. Know that all women are welcome to veil (Gabi wouldn’t mind if it’s white) and for more information on it see the url below! https://www.veilsbylily.com/frequently-asked-questions/#why
