Sequoia Park
There are trails to walk and it is directly behind the Sequoia Park Zoo. Easy access to the Redwood Forest without having to drive far. Free. Carlos was blown away by the Redwood forest and the beauty right near Liz's residence!
Sequoia Park Zoo
Bald eagles, fun playful otters, and red pandas! Children and adults will love this beautiful zoo. They also have the "Sky Trail" where you walk amongst the redwood trees up high -- a must see if you're not afraid of heights! Liz has fear of heights and could only complete half of the sky trail with Carlos, but it was an adventurous experience together!
Gill's By the Bay
Delicious seafood and fish & chips! Liz's favorite spot for chowder, it's a seafood chowder. The calamari and onion rings are also yummy. Carlos said it was his favorite breakfast spot, he had the crab omelet with home fries and fresh squeezed orange juice.
Renata's Crêperie
We went here when Carlos visited Eureka, he loved it! Amazing latte's and mocha's with fresh whipped cream. Amazing savory and sweet crepes.
Golden Harvest Cafe
Delicious breakfast/brunch with organic produce and made from scratch items. Fresh squeezed juices and delicious latte's. Healthy but delicious. Carlos loved this place.
Sea Grill
Favorite place for seafood, local caught fish and shellfish. Daily specials. Reservations recommended. Liz's favorite spot to celebrate!
Siam Orchid Thai Cuisine
Liz's favorite place for Thai food. Their pad thai is the best in the county, and their curries are delicious. Carlos had ordered their red curry and it was spicy! Liz's favorite is the yellow curry.
