We got pizza in the middle of nowhere during our roadtrip through NY state. They had a 4th of July festival for the whole town of 50 people lol.

Howes Cavern has a legend stating that if you stand on the calcite heart and you're not married, you will be within a year. Paul made me walk over the heart with him and we got married a year later!

We visited Howes Cavern again in 2024 and walked over the heart again!

We went hiking in April and there was over a foot of snow and we weren't dressed appropriately for it lol. We got stopped by park rangers but they let us go because we're military.
