Paul and Audrey met on February 4th, 2019. Audrey was a supervisor at Cinemaworld Theaters in Melbourne, Florida, responsible for training new employees. Paul, a student at Eastern Florida State College at the time, was trying to find a job he enjoyed to work his way through college. Audrey had trained many people before, but when she noticed Paul on the schedule as a new employee, something felt different. She was so excited to train Paul that she even did her makeup and hair on Paul’s first day. However, Paul was 30 minutes late on his first day because he had class that morning and forgot to buy the pants required for his uniform. When Paul finally arrived, Audrey called him out for being late. Paul responded with a joke that made Audrey laugh, and they spent the rest of Paul’s shift talking and getting to know each other. Audrey was developing a crush on Paul, so she would watch movies with her friends during Paul’s shifts to figure out if Paul liked her too. Little did she know, Paul had mutual feelings but felt unsure if she liked him the same way because, despite their flirtatious interactions at work, it felt as if they were already best friends. Paul looked forward to coming in for work to hang out with Audrey and get to know her better. After a few weeks of deliberation with friends, Audrey finally worked up the courage to ask Paul out on a date. She suggested ice skating, something Paul didn’t enjoy, but he agreed to go anyway. They spent the next few months going out on dates to the movies, bowling, the beach, etc. Paul moved back to the Keys at the end of 2019, so the two would only meet up when Paul was in Melbourne. In October of 2020, Paul joined the military. Audrey was excited for Paul, but she felt discouraged because she didn’t want to date someone in the military. She sent Paul memes and paper games while he was in basic training, but they didn’t keep in contact after he graduated. Eventually, in June of 2022, Paul and Audrey planned a road trip across New York State, visiting NYC, Niagara Falls, Howes Caverns, and exploring Syracuse. During that week, Paul made several comments, implying that he intended to marry Audrey. On July 6th, 2022, Paul told Audrey that he loved her for the first time. The couple decided to pursue a long-distance relationship for several months. Then, in February of 2023, Audrey decided to quit her job, leave her friends and family behind, and move to New York to start her life with Paul. On August 3rd, 2023, the two eloped in Watertown, New York. Paul and Audrey will be celebrating their love on their one-year anniversary with friends and family on a weekend cruise to the Bahamas!
