Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes - the buses will pick-up at the Residence Inn North Conway (1801 White Mountain Hwy, North Conway, NH 03860) at 3:15 pm on Saturday, July 23rd. The buses will return to the Residence Inn at 10:00 pm (from the reception) and 12:00 pm (from the after party).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes - there is a parking lot at the very front of the venue. You are welcome to leave your car overnight, if needed. Please back into your parking space.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - tie optional (Pat and the groomsmen will not be wearing ties). We want everyone to be comfortable. The bridesmaids are wearing dusty sage dresses (in case you are worried about matching with them!) Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, and the reception will take place in an open-air tent. It typically cools off in the evening so please plan your outfit accordingly.

Where are you going on your honeymoon?

Answer

We are planning to spend two weeks in Tanzania right after our wedding. We'll start our trip with a week long safari and then fly to Zanzibar for a few days on the beach before returning home.

Why Maine?

Answer

Pat's parents have a house on Conway Lake in New Hampshire, just ten minutes away from Fryeburg, Maine where Hardy Farm is located. While visiting the lake in the Summer of 2020, we started thinking about how nice the weather is in Maine that time of year, and how it would make for an awesome outdoor wedding experience. A quick search of local wedding venues led us to Hardy Farm, and the rest is history! We are so appreciative of everyone who is considering making the trip to Maine to help us celebrate.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have decided not to have kids at our wedding - we love your little ones but you deserve a night out without them! If you are planning to bring your kids along for the weekend, please feel free to bring them to the welcome event on Friday evening, and let us know if you'd like help finding a sitter for Saturday evening.
