Yes! Transportation will be available to and from the venue. There will be pick up locations at each of the room block accommodations as well as an additional pick up spot in a central location (exact location TBD). If you are staying outside of the room block and would like to utilize the provided transportation, please let the couple know where you will be staying so we can help you determine which pick up stop will be most convenient for you!
Vail is made up of three main areas: East Vail, Vail Village (Main Vail), and West Vail/Lionshead. Our welcome drinks will be held in East Vail at Apres Cafe, while our wedding ceremony and reception will take place in West Vail at Donovan Pavilion. We have reserved room blocks at Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort (in East Vail) , Grand Hyatt Vail (in West Vail), and the Residence Inn by Marriott (in West Vail). Guests are also encouraged to explore lodging options in Vail Village, which sits between the two and offers a lively, walkable area with shops, restaurants, and easy access to both events. No matter where you stay, everything in Vail is close by and easily connected, making it simple to get between events with just a short drive or quick ride.
Welcome Party: Summer Cocktail Attire Men: Light suits or dress pants with button down shirt, no ties required. Women: Your favorite summer outfit, breezy dresses, or skirts of any length are perfect. Wedding: Black Tie Encouraged, Formal Required Men: Tuxes or dark suits Ladies: Long colorful dresses are encouraged!
Yes, for those who choose to drive themselves free parking is available at the Donovan Pavilion.
While it's not 100% necessary, if you plan on getting out to explore, a car may be preferred. The free bus is also an easy and reliable option. Ubers and taxis exist as well but availability is not always reliable.
Our wedding weekend and hosted events will be adults-only with the exception of children in our wedding party. If your little ones tag along for the weekend away we recommend the following baby sitter services: Vail sitters, The sitter agency, Care 4 kids, Rocky Mountain Sitters
